Parents Voice
Nagle Community College has a long tradition of effective partnership with our parents/guardians. Educational research on the involvement of parents in schools shows that children achieve higher levels when parents and school staff work together.
The parents voice committee in our school is a vibrant, energetic and motivated group of parents/guardians. We meet at least once a term (and remotely during COVID times) to discuss issues affecting parents at the school, share ideas and resources, provide constructive feedback and make suggestions about how to make our school the best it can be. Members of the group also regularly provide feedback to Ms. Kind on policy development in the school.
Principal Mr. Jim O’ Sullivan, Deputy Principal Mr. O’ Keeffe and HSCL Ms. Fiona Liston also attend all meetings.
Currently we have over 20 members in the group and we are extremely grateful for their time and contribution. Officers in the group for the 2020/2021 academic year are: Ms. Deborah O’ Flynn, Ms. Andrea Nation, Ms. Michelle Reidy and Ms. Margaret O’Sullivan
Parents/guardians from all year groups are welcome to join at any stage.
